Patna, Dec. 6 -- Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary on Saturday launched CCTNS portal to provide better online police service in the state, an important step to check crimes.
Chaudhary at an official function, launched CCTNS portal, giving facilities to people to avail online police service in the event of any exigencies.
Anyone in distress, could seek online police service, he added.
"Crime-Criminal Tracking Network and System (CCTNS) will help citizens in seeking online police service without visiting police stations," Deputy Chief Minister said adding that anyone could register complaint at police station online using CCTNS portal.
