Patna, Jan. 26 -- Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Samrat Choudhary on Monday directed police to take firm action against criminals to build a crime-free Bihar.
Addressing a gathering Choudhary said here that strong law and order is the foundation of good governance. He instructed the police to intensify action against criminals, ensure swift delivery of justice and further strengthen the system of good governance in the state. He said the government has successfully ensured uninterrupted electricity, roads and drinking water to villages across Bihar, and is now focusing on expanding industrial infrastructure, where the role of the police will be crucial.
