Patna, April 22 -- The first cabinet meeting of the Samrat Choudhary government on Wednesday approved 22 key proposals focusing on urban development, employment generation, tourism, technology, and governance reforms.

The cabinet meeting chaired by Bihar chief minister Samrat Choudhary, which lasted around an hour, was attended by both Deputy Chief Ministers.

After the meeting, Cabinet Additional Chief Secretary Arvind Choudhary told news persons here that the cabinet approved the notification of master plans for identified townships in cities including Patna, Sonepur, Gaya, Darbhanga, Saharsa, Purnia, and Munger by March 31, 2027. For Muzaffarpur, Chhapra, Bhagalpur, and Sitamarhi, the deadline has been set for June 30, 2027.
