Hyderabad, Jan. 13 -- AICC General Secretary Sampath Kumar on Tuesday alleged that BRS-friendly media outlets were spreading false propaganda against him by distorting facts related to a local payment dispute.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan, Sampath Kumar said a person named Basha had worked as a subcontractor under a company called Bhramaramba and was owed about Rs 13 lakh. Basha reportedly approached him seeking help in recovering the pending amount.
"On his request, I called the General Manager of the Bhramaramba company and asked them to clear the dues. But the company did not pay him," Sampath Kumar said.
