New Delhi, Feb. 4 -- West Bengal BJP State President Samik Bhattacharya on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over her appearance in the Supreme Court, accusing her government of undermining constitutional institutions and promoting illegal infiltration in the state.

Addressing a press conference in BJPs Headquarters in New Delhi, Bhattacharya said Banerjee had claimed in August 2005 that the entire voter list of West Bengal was filled with Bangladeshi nationals, but today she has come to Delhi opposing the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
