Sambhal, Feb. 16 -- In Sambhal district, Superintendent of Police Krishna Kumar Bishnoi suspended the entire Special Operations Group (SOG) team after serious allegations of extortion were found to be prima facie true. The action followed an inquiry conducted by Circle Officer Alok Kumar Bhati, officials confirmed on Monday.
The suspended officers include the SOG in-charge, Sub-Inspector Mohit Chaudhary, as well as Head Constables Kulwant and Arshad, and Constables Ajanbi, Ayush, Vivek, Brijesh, and Hiresh.
Bobindra Sharma has been assigned as the new SOG in charge.
