Bhubaneswar, Dec. 23 -- union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Tuesday announced that Sambalpur will be developed into a leading hub of education and technology, surpassing global benchmarks such as Stanford University and Silicon Valley.
Inaugurating the newly constructed Bibitsa World School at Bhalukunda in Sambalpur, Pradhan said the government's primary objective is to move beyond basic literacy and build a strong knowledge-based economy in the region.
Extending his best wishes to the students, teachers, and management committee, the union minister said the inauguration marks the beginning of a new chapter in education in western Odisha and would serve as a milestone for the state's education sector.
