Dharamshala, Feb. 18 -- In a landmark announcement, the Himachal Pradesh School Education Board has decided to release pensions to its retired employees before disbursing salaries to serving staff, marking a significant shift in administrative priority.
Speaking at a dignified Ceremony in Dharamshala, Board Chairman Dr. Rajesh Sharma said on Wednesday that pensioners would now receive their dues first, even if it meant that salaries of current employees were processed later. The declaration drew prolonged applause from those present.
