London, Aug. 20 -- Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah has become the first player to win the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) Men's Player of the Year award for the third time.
Salah, who also won the award in 2018 and 2022, topped a six-player shortlist that included Liverpool teammate Alexis Mac Allister, Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes, Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, Chelsea's Cole Palmer, and Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice.
The honor marks a historic milestone for the 33-year-old following his instrumental role in Liverpool's Premier League title win last season.
Salah finished the 2024-25 campaign as the league's top scorer with 29 goals, along with 18 assists.
