New Delhi, Oct. 30 -- State-owned Maharatna Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) today announced its financial results for the half year ended September 30 (H1 FY 2026), showcasing resilient operational performance and improved profitability, an official statement said.
The results showed steady production, which is maintained at 9.5 million tonnes of crude steel, and sales volume grew by 16.7pc as the steel major increased its outreach to retail and other consumers.
Moreover, revenue from operations crossed Rs 52,600 crore, which is driven by higher sales volumes despite the challenges faced at the pricing front. Profit After Tax (PAT) also increased by 32pc, highlighting operational efficiency and cost optimization.
