New Delhi, Jan. 5 -- Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has delivered its strongest-ever sales performance for the month of December, underlining the company's growing market strength and operational efficiency.
The Maharatna public sector steel major recorded provisional sales of 2.1 million tonnes in December 2025, marking a sharp year-on-year growth of about 37 per cent compared with 1.5 million tonnes sold in December 2024. This is the highest sales volume achieved by SAIL in any December so far.
The robust performance reflects strong demand across product categories and sales channels, coupled with a focused push on timely customer deliveries.
