Raipur, Jan. 21 -- The Chhattisgarh Cabinet on Wednesday approved a series of policy decisions covering excise reforms, higher education, startup promotion and public healthcare, underscoring the state government's push towards fiscal stability, quality education and technology-driven growth.

The meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, cleared the excise policy for the financial year 2026-27, authorising the excise department to carry out all consequential actions.
