Patna, July 10 -- Mukesh Sahni, president of VIP, a constituent of opposition Grand Alliance in Bihar, today slammed former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad for branding Muslims and poor as foreign nationals in the state.

Sahni said that Prasad, a senior politician, had defended the Special Intensive Revision(SIR) of voters list in Bihar, alleging that a large number of Rohingya and Bangladeshis were earlier included in electoral rolls. It was surprising that a senior leader like Prasad was making such a baseless allegation, he remarked.
