Srinagar, April 21 -- The Capt Vishal Bhandral, KC Memorial Volleyball Competition concluded with Safapora VB Club lifting the trophy after a thrilling finale in North Kashmir.
Army said the tournament witnessed participation from 74 teams across the region, highlighting growing enthusiasm for sports and youth engagement. Organised in tribute to the fallen officer, the event aimed to honour his legacy while promoting unity, discipline and sportsmanship among young players.
Maj Gen Tushar Sharma, General Officer Commanding Kilo Force, attended the event as the chief guest, accompanied by Brig Hemant Singh Ponwar, Commander 3 Sector RR. Several civil dignitaries and local residents were also present.
