Coimbatore, Aug. 31 -- Braving landslides, heavy rains and high-altitude terrain rising up to 20,000 feet, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev successfully completed the Kailash Yatra on motorcycle and foot earlier this week, describing the feat as a demonstration of yoga's transformative power-just a year and a half after undergoing two emergency brain surgeries.
Starting from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, on August 9, the Isha Foundation founder rode through Nepal and into Tibet, reaching Lake Manasarovar before trekking to Mount Kailash for darshan. "As per medical advice, I was not supposed to ride a motorcycle, yet I went to 18,000 feet above mean sea level. This demonstrates the power of yoga," he said.
