SAD nominates Parupkar Ghumman as party candidate for Ludhiana West by-election

Chandigarh, April 17 -- The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has decided to nominate prominent Adv. Parupkar Singh Ghumman as the party candidate for the Ludhiana West by election.

A decision to this effect was taken by party President Sukhbir Singh Badal after holding extensive discussions with senior party leaders as well as all leaders of Ludhiana, including all current and former municipal councilors of the city. It was the considered view that Parupkar Ghumman should be given the party ticket for the by-election keeping in view his services to the party as well as people at large.
