Bengaluru, Aug. 25 -- Days after his sacking as Karnataka Minister, Congress MLA KN Rajanna today hit out at his party government over the handling of the Dharmasthala controversy, alleging that extreme measures were taken without any basic investigation, risking the reputation of the revered temple.

Speaking to reporters, Rajanna said, "Before taking such drastic steps, proper preliminary inquiries should have been conducted. It is essential to identify who authorized these actions and whether due process was followed.
