Shillong, April 19 -- After his visit to Meghalaya, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has announced that the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation (STF) has tied up with the Gates Foundation and the Meghalaya government to work towards a "healthier future for children".
Tendulkar made the announcement through his microblogging site X : "A step forward in our journey as Sachin Tendulkar Foundation, Bill Melinda Gates Foundation and the Meghalaya government partner to work together to support a healthier future for children."
He added: "as we spent time with the lively communities of Meghalaya, we were reminded that real change takes root when compassion and action come together."
