Mumbai, Jan. 15 -- Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar on Thursday cast his vote in the ongoing Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections and urged citizens to participate in large numbers, calling voting the strongest way to express public opinion in a democracy.
The former India captain, fondly known as the Master Blaster, was among the first cricketers to arrive at a polling booth on Thursday morning. Tendulkar reached the Pali-Chimbai Municipal School in Bandra along with his wife Anjali Tendulkar and daughter Sara Tendulkar to exercise his franchise.
