Bhopal, July 17 -- Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel today administered the oath of office to High Court Chief Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva.
The swearing-in ceremony was conducted at the Raj Bhavan here.
Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda was among the dignitaries in attendance. Sachdeva is the state's 29th Chief Justice.
He assumes charge from Justice Suresh Kumar Kait. Following Kait's superannuation, Sachdeva became Acting Chief Justice on May 25.
