Hyderabad, Aug. 21 -- Venkatachalam, Co-Chairperson of the Insurance Awareness Committee (IAC - Life), on Thursday said the "Sabse Pehle Life Insurance" campaign aims to shift focus from mere awareness to action by encouraging households to adopt a "protection-first" approach.
Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad, he said life insurance should be prioritised in the order of protection, retirement, and children's future.
He stressed the need for policyholders to review the adequacy of their insurance cover, noting that the COVID-19 experience showed many families realised their claims were insufficient.
