Thiruvananthapuram, Feb. 4 -- Former Opposition leader in the Kerala Assembly Ramesh Chennithala on Wednesday accused the Chief Minister of exerting pressure on the Special Investigation Team (SIT), resulting in the complete "stalling" of the probe into the Sabarimala gold smuggling case.

He also said the Kerala High Court had pointed out serious lapses by the state government in the controversial Sprinklr deal.

In a media statement here, Chennithala said the seized gold in the Sabarimala case had not been recovered even after a long period, raising serious doubts about the credibility of the investigation.
