Nizamabad (Telangana) , April 21 -- The three-day Rythu Mahotsavam, featuring modern agricultural equipment, high-yield crop varieties and livestock breeds among other things, commenced with great enthusiasm on Monday at the Giriraj Government Degree College grounds in Nizamabad.

State Agriculture, Marketing, and Handloom Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao formally inaugurated the event, organised by the Telangana State Agriculture Department. The Agriculture Minister was accompanied by Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Jupally Krishna Rao, and Government Advisor Mohammed Shabbir Ali, who arrived by helicopter from Hyderabad. Senior government officials, MLAs, MLCs, and agricultural department heads also participated.
