Moscow/Kyiv, Sept. 29 -- Russian troops destroyed a number of Ukrainian UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) storage and launch sites by firing Geran-2 drones in Kyiv, as per the Russian Defence Ministry.

The ministry claimed to have carried out a "massive strike" in Ukraine, late Sunday via long-range air- and sea-based weapons and drones to target military infrastructure, including airfields, reports state media TASS.

The ministry later uploaded a video showing Geran-2 drones hitting the Ukrainian army's UAV storage and launch sites.

Ukraine's military confirmed the overnight Russian assault, and said that Moscow had launched 595 drones and 48 missiles in the night. The main targets were identified as Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Khmelnytskyi, Sumy, M...
