Moscow, May 2 -- Zamir Kabulov, Russia's Special Presidential Representative for Afghanistan, says Russia is ready to cooperate with the United States on the issue of Afghanistan. However, the US must also approach the situation with a constructive attitude, and unblock Kabul's funds.
"We are ready for contacts with Westerners, including the Americans, in Afghanistan. But we expect that they will demonstrate their constructive attitude in practice, first of all, they will take measures to unblock Afghan national assets that were frozen in Western banks immediately after the Taliban came to power," Kabulov told RIA Novosti.
