Bengaluru, Sept. 26 -- The Karnataka High Court today allowed the union of India to issue travel documents for a Russian woman and her two children, found living in a remote cave in Gokarna, Uttara Kannada district, to return to Russia.

The bench, led by Justice BM Shyam Prasad, disposed of a petition filed by Dror Shlomo Goldstein, who claimed to be the father of the children and sought to restrain the government from their "sudden deportation."During the proceedings, Additional Solicitor General Aravind Kamath informed the court that a DNA report had confirmed the child's identity, following which the Russian government issued emergency travel documents (ETDs) for the mother and children.
