Beijing, Sept. 4 -- President Vladimir Putin today said Russia is willing to fight to achieve all its objectives if Ukraine does not agree to a deal.

He made the remarks in China after attending a huge military parade seen as a challenge to US President Donald Trump and the US-dominated world order, reports BBC.

Despite several attempts by the US president to persuade Putin to end the war, the Russian head of state, while praising Trump's "sincere desire", has so far not done so.

When asked US president about his reaction to Putin's remark, Trump replied that the Russian leader "knows where I stand" regarding an end to the war.
