Moscow, July 9 -- As the global economy braces itself against the impact of the controversial tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump, which come into effect on August 1, Russia has said that it is closely monitoring the US trade policy.
This includes the possible introduction of tariffs on Russia - which so far has been exempt from the 'reciprocal' tariffs due to the already strict sanctions imposed due to its war with Ukraine, its impact on global supply chains and markets, ramifications on free trade, and especially the effect they will have on fellow BRICS nations, reports Russian state media TASS.
