Russia's Aeroflot cancels flights to Tehran
Moscow, July 10 -- Russian flag-carrier Aeroflot said today that it had canceled flights between Moscow and Tehran after Iran extended airspace restrictions until August 1.
"Due to the extension of restrictions (until August 1) at Tehran airport by the Iranian aviation authorities, Aeroflot is forced to adjust the schedule for this destination. Flights between Moscow and Tehran have been canceled until restrictions are lifted," Aeroflot said.
Passengers will be offered a refund or ticket reissue for a later date.
Iran has extended the suspension of domestic and international flights in the airspace in the north, south and west of the country.
