New Delhi, Nov. 17 -- Russia has offered to cooperate with India in the shipbuilding sector, especially in creating specialized ships such as ice-class vessels, and also in green shipbuilding.
This was stated by aide to the President of Russia Nikolay Patrushev, who is also Chairman of the Maritime Board of Russia, during talks held here with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, National Maritime Security Coordinator Vice Admiral Biswajit Dasgupta and Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal.
During the consultations, the parties discussed the development of bilateral cooperation in the civilian maritime sector, with a focus on collaboration in shipbuilding, port infrastructure and maritime logistics. Particular atten...
