Washington, Feb. 20 -- Russia has been actively implementing projects across Africa that are related to energy, transport, high technology, space exploration and digital innovation, Tatiana Dovgalenko, head of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Department for Partnership with Africa, has told Sputnik.
"We are working on large-scale investment projects across the continent, including in energy, transport and logistics networks, secure financial transaction systems, high-tech industries, space exploration, and digital technologies," Dovgalenko said.
Trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Africa reached a record $24.5 billion in 2023, the official said. This cooperation has not yet exhausted its full potential and continues to grow.
