Moscow, Aug. 4 -- Downplaying US President Donald Trump's deployment of two nuclear submarines after his verbal spat with former Russian President and now Deputy Chairman of the country's Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, the Kremlin said it had no intention of involving itself in polemics, reports BBC.



In the first official reaction since the US president's comments last Friday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov dismissed any kind of nuclear panic, stating that American submarines were on combat duty anyway and there had been no escalation.
