Moscow, Aug. 27 -- Russia has cited extreme distrust over Germany's investigation into the Nord Stream sabotage of 2022, accusing Berlin of veiling the truth by putting the onus on private actors. This comes as an Ukrainian individual was detained in Italy, and has been accused for bombing the Nord Stream pipeline.

Speaking at the United Nations Security Council, Russian diplomat Dmitry Polyansky said that Berlin knew far more than it was letting on, and accused the country of hiding data critical to the probe, citing its deliberate lack of transparency by giving titbits of information to the media.
