Moscow, July 4 -- Russia and Saudi Arabia are scheduled to launch direct flights in October, which is expected further boost tourist exchange as well as business contacts, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Friday.
"I am confident that the further expansion of tourist exchanges, business contacts, and people-to-people contacts in general will be facilitated, firstly, by the opening of direct flights between Saudi Arabia and the Russian Federation, scheduled for October this year, as well as the visa waiver agreement," Lavrov said after holding talks with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
The minister said that the prospective visa waiver agreement between the two countries is in the final stages of preparation....
