Patna, Feb. 19 -- A total of 46 petitions have been filed against MLAs challenging their elections in last Bihar Assembly polls held in November, 2025, and notices have been issued against half of them so far.
A senior lawyer of Patna High Court associated with handling these cases, said a total of 46 petitions have been filedchallenging elections of MLAs in Bihar Assembly polls held in November, 2025.
Various grounds have been cited in the election petitions, including irregularities in voters' list, furnishing false information in election affidavits, alluring voters with money and other assurances to influence results, etc.
