Mahagama (Jharkhand), May 9 -- Jharkhand minister Dipika Pandey Singh on Saturday inaugurated and laid foundation stones for a series of development projects in Meherma and Thakurgangti blocks of Mahagama, aimed at improving rural infrastructure, irrigation, organic farming and livelihoods.
Under the Chief Minister Gram Sadak Sudridhikaran Yojana, the foundation stone was laid for strengthening of the 1.75-km road from Dudhkol to Baghakol on the PMGSY route in Thakurgangti block. The project, estimated to cost about Rs 1.63 crore, is expected to improve connectivity for villagers, farmers and students.
