Mathura, Sept. 11 -- In Mathura's Jait village, Uttar Pradesh Tourism embarked on a new initiative, hosting a three-day Familiarisation (FAM) Trip from September 10. The programme, part of the Agri Rural and Gangey Gram Rural Tourism Project, brought together a delegation from Sri Lanka to experience India's rich rural heritage.
Rather than mere sightseeing, the trip offered an immersive dive into the living village traditions of Jait, famous for its centuries-old tales of Krishna and the serpent Kaliya. This initiative puts rural India at the forefront of global tourism and cultural exchange conversations.
