Lucknow, Oct. 5 -- Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has directed the officials concerned to ensure strict compliance with all directives related to the operation and maintenance of rural haats under the MNREGA scheme.
The Deputy CM said that self-help groups should be given priority in the allocation of rural haats, as this would be an important step towards women's empowerment.
