Mumbai, July 6 -- The Rupee on Monday gained by eight paise to 74.55 against the USD in opening trade on selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market.
The local unit advanced owing to weak dollar against other world currencies amid strong opening in equity market, the dealers said.
The rupee registered intra days high and low at 74.61 and 74.52, respectively
