Mumbai, March 4 -- The Rupee on Tuesday advanced further by 9 paise to close strong at 87.27 against USD on selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit was seen unchanged at 87.36 in early trade. During the day it rallied 9 paise to finish at 87.27 as compared to its last close.
The Rupee recorded intra-highs and lows at 87.25 and 87.38 respectively, the dealer added.
