Mumbai, Jan. 14 -- The Rupee rose eight paise to 70.86 against the US Dollar on Tuesday on selling of the greenback by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit was strengthened owing to weak dollar against other world currencies along with strong equity market in the opening trade.
The Rupee registered intra-day high and low at 70.90 and 70.82 respectively.
