Mumbai, Jan. 29 -- The Rupee on Wednesday fell by one paisa to close at 86.55 on rising demand for US dollars from bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit that eased four paise at 86.58 in the opening session finished at 85.55, sliding one paisa as compared to its last close.
The rupee recorded intraday highs and lows at 86.54 and 86.60, respectively, the dealer added.
