Mumbai, April 16 -- The Rupee remained firm on Wednesday too, rising 8 paise to close at 85.68 against USD, on selling of US Dollar from foreign banks and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit moved up 15 paise at 85.61 in early trade, till the end of the session, it was slightly declined from opening level, but closed positive only at 85.68, up 8 paise as compared to its last close.
The domestic unit was on top on weak Dollar against other world currencies amid robust equity market.
The Rupee recorded intra days high and low at 85.58 and 85.71 respectively, dealer added.
