Mumbai, Feb. 6 -- The rupee on Thursday slipped 6 paise to 87.54 against USD in the opening session on rising demand for US dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The domestic unit was seen weak on the strong dollar against other world currencies amid a negative opening in the equity market, the dealer informed.
The Rupee recorded intra days high and low at 86.50 and 86.56 respectively, dealer added.
