Mumbai, March 24 -- The Rupee on Monday ended strong at 85.64 against USD, advancing 34 paise due to continued Dollar selling from foreign banks, dealers at the Forex Market said.
Though, the domestic unit opened cautiously at 85.97, rising one paisa at early trade, it was swung at 85.50 at peak during the day, before closing at 85.64, spurting 34 paise as compared to its last close.
Robust equity market too boosted the same, dealers informed.
The Rupee recorded intra days high and low at 85.50 and 86.66 respectively, dealer added.
