Mumbai, April 22 -- The Rupee on Monday heavily down by 35 paise to 69.71 against the UD Dollar in early trade on rising demand for US Dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at forex market said.



Sliding equity market in opening trade also impacted the Rupee's fall, dealer informed.



The domestic unit fell because strong Dollar against other world currencies.



The Indian currency registered intra day high and low at 69.88 and 69.69 respectively. UNI NV SB 1141
