Mumbai, April 24 -- The Rupee on Thursday tumbled down 21 paise at 85.63 against USD in early trade on rising demand for USD by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market informed.
The domestic unit was seen as weak against the strong dollar against other world currencies amid a weak opening in the equity market.
The rupee recorded intraday highs and lows at 85.52 and 85.66, respectively, the dealer added.
