Lucknow, March 12 -- Amid escalating tensions in West Asia, rumours about a potential shortage of domestic LPG cylinders have created panic in several cities in Uttar Pradesh.
This has led to a large number of people booking gas cylinders simultaneously, causing companies' servers to slow down and long queues to form outside gas agencies in many places. However, the administration has clarified that domestic LPG supplies are sufficient and that there is no shortage.
According to gas agency operators, the panic has also been caused by the recently implemented rule allowing new bookings only 25 days after the last refill.
