Kolkata, June 10 -- A privilege motion was moved jointly by four ministers on Tuesday against Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari for his alleged insulting remarks against Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee outside the floor of the house, official sources said. Senior ministers Chandrima Bhattacharya, Shovandeb Chatterjee, Aroop Bioswas and Indranil Sen jointly brought the privilege and submitted it to Speaker Biman Banerjee in the evening. The Speaker is expected to offer his opinion on the issue on Wednesday. It was alleged in the privilege motion that Adhikari told reporters outside the assembly that the chief minister had "spoken on behalf of Pakistan" during a motion to praise the Indian armed forces.
