Thiruvananthapuram, June 9 -- Kerala BJP President Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Monday criticised the ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF) Government for its alleged neglect towards poor people residing in high-range areas in Nilambur.
The BJP chief was responding to the death of a 10th-class student who came in contact with a live wire from an electric fence set up illegally on private land to trap wild boars.
He said, "Ananthu's tragic demise in Nilambur is the latest proof of the LDF government's unforgivable neglect of the high-range communities. Wild animal attacks have become routine, but the government remains paralyzed."
